Hello, Farm On Central family! Today, we’re excited to dive into the fascinating world of mushroom cultivation with our specialty: inoculated mushroom blocks. Whether you’re a seasoned mycologist or a curious newcomer, our Lion’s Mane and Oyster mushroom varieties offer a unique and engaging experience right at your fingertips.
What Are Inoculated Mushroom Blocks?
Mushroom blocks are your gateway to growing gourmet mushrooms right from the comfort of your own home. These blocks are carefully inoculated with mushroom spawn, providing everything the fungi need to flourish. At the Farm On Central, we offer two popular varieties: Lions Mane, known for its brain-boosting benefits, and Oyster mushrooms, celebrated for their delicate texture and flavor.
Why Choose Lions Mane and Oyster Mushrooms?
Lions Mane mushrooms aren’t just a treat for the palate; they’re also hailed for their potential cognitive and neurological health benefits. On the other hand, Oyster mushrooms are a culinary favorite, versatile in dishes from stir-fries to soups, making them a fantastic starting point for anyone new to mushroom cultivation.
Set Up Your Space: Find a cool, moist area in your home where your mushroom block can thrive without direct sunlight.
Care and Maintenance: Mist your block with water daily to maintain the humidity that mushrooms love.
Watch Them Grow: Within a few weeks, you’ll see the first signs of mushroom growth. It’s an exciting process that offers more than just food; it’s a fascinating educational experience for all ages.
