Welcome to Bair-Trax Dairy, located in Troy, OH, provider of organic raw milk. “We are David and Annette Bair and are the 3rd generation to farm this land. We strive to grow healthy food through healthy soils. We manage grass to provide for the nutritional needs of our animals and to sustain and add to a healthy environment. We believe that healthy soils mean healthy animals and healthy food.
“We find joy in the great diversity of wildlife on our farm, which has grown as we’ve committed to regenerative, organic farming. There’s nothing better than being out in the pasture listening to the cows being cows and the chickens being chickens…enjoying the sunshine and green grass. Just as God intended.
“We began grazing in 2001 and switched to Certified Organic in 2011. As we continue on this journey we have seen the restoration of the land, we have seen healthier animals and a happier and healthier family!”
We, at Farm on Central, source our certified organic eggs from Morning Sun Organic Farm. They are located in West Alexandria, OH.
Our friends at Refreshing Spring say: “When we first began making kombucha in 2014, our children did not like its taste, so we had to find a way to make kombucha that they would drink, without altering the benefits. This is where our experimenting with different flavors began. Now our children love kombucha and drink it daily!
“We begin our brew by making a sweet tea using reverse osmosis water, organic black tea and organic sugar. We then place the tea into a stainless-steel pot, along with our SCOBY. Our SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony Of Bacteria and Yeast) was not produced in a factory, but rather came from a “mother” SCOBY that was cultured by a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend, etc as the original had babies, who had babies, who also had babies, etc.
“After allowing the tea to ferment, we flavor our kombucha with delicious whole fruits, cold pressed juices and other organic flavors. We never use syrups or added sugar of any kind. We endeavor to keep everything simple, delicious, and wholesome.”
We offer Whole milk, A2A2 Milk, and Chocolate milk from Indian Creek Creamery
“Indian Creek Creamery is an extension of our family dairy where we minimally process milk from our cows to provide consumers with milk as nature intended. We started our dairy in 1991 in rural Logan County, Ohio. We started bottling our milk in 2019, to both allow consumers to enjoy the natural taste and benefits of milk and to respond to the challenging market conditions for small dairy farmers.
“Dairy farming has been our lifelong passion, and our 80 cows are like members of our own family – with names and personalities that bring a smile to our faces every day. Cow comfort is of utmost importance to us; our cows always have the option of grazing and lying in the rolling pasture outside the barn or staying inside during inclement weather. Our products are made with a loving touch every step of the way; we hope it’s a love you can taste!”
We source some of our produce from Mile Creek Farm, a small family farm committed to growing organic vegetables of the highest quality. Their products are available to the greater Dayton region at the 2nd Street Market and their own CSA.
Ben and Emily met while taking the Master Urban Gardener course in Boston, fell in love with each other and gardening.
They apprenticed at organic farms across the country, then started Mile Creek Farm in 2007 and became certified organic in 2010 through OEFFA (Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association). “We believe that organic farming reinvigorates the land, creates thriving ecosystems and produces a better tasting and healthier crop. We hope to serve you and your family!”

IN TODAY’S MODERN AGRICULTURE, our efforts can deplete life or add life. When you look for ways to add life, it’s sustainable and makes everything work better. The result is enhanced plant and soil health for crops, gardens, and turf, as well as improved animal health and environment for livestock and wildlife.
Our products are all-natural, easy to use, and friendly to the soil, the plant, as well as the grower. AgriGro’s® formulations deliver essential plant nutrition along with an advanced prebiotic concentrate, which significantly increases the multitude of beneficial native microbial species already residing in the production environment.
Through these environmentally sound technologies, we’re adding life to crop production, livestock, home, turf, and wildlife markets. You don’t have to be dependent on crop production efforts that deplete life.
We offer honey products from this family owned business.

The Cleveland Pickle story: “I am a chef, and my wife grew up in the restaurant business. We had spent our entire careers honing and perfecting our skills, we just didn’t know pickles were our calling…yet.
“So, in 2012 we opened a restaurant appropriately named “Cleveland Pickle”. Yet, it was not created as a “pickle centric” type of place, we just thought it was a great name for a sandwich shop.
“The interesting thing was, that while we were indeed garnering rave reviews for our scratch-made, gourmet food, it was our homemade pickles that were quickly becoming the star of the show (which is why the name Cleveland Pickle was so fortuitous) – so we developed a few more flavors outside of our “house” recipe, and we hit the farmer’s markets. Lo and behold, we began selling out everywhere we went.
“It was this success and customer demand that led us, in 2018, to shut down our restaurant operation and focus solely on becoming a full time pickle manufacturer. We hustled hard for 2 years, drawing the attention of an outside investment group and in December of 2019, we formed a new LLC, the US Foods Group, which has helped us achieve our goal of becoming a product development company with nationwide distribution capabilities.
“And now our pickles have a cult following, are in groceries (refrigerated and shelf stable alike), and are making pickle history.”
