Matt gives me so much hope in humanity. When we moved on to the farm 3 years ago and started getting those first deliveries, I’m sure Matt had no idea what all this was about to become…and we weren’t exactly sure either. But the fact that we now have our UPS guys cell number and he’s stocking up on veggies for the week while he’s on his break…I mean that’s the simple stuff in life that makes me really thankful and really hopeful. It’s the overlap of living a life that’s honest and on purpose. He’s working here doing his thing, and so are we. You might call it a symbiotic relationship of sorts. To me that’s what community is about.
